INFO & FAQ

Metz at Parts & Labour for MATTYFEST

Legendary Toronto chef Matty Matheson has always had a unique vision for quality food experiences that are interesting and adventurous, but also accessible.

Through his various restaurant enterprises, television programs and most recently his New York Times best-selling cookbook, Matty has become one of the most notable and likeable names in Canadian food culture.

Now, building on a grassroots tradition of hardcore shows he started in the basement of his former restaurant Parts & Labour, in 2019 he brings the MATTYFEST concept to RBC Echo Beach with an expanded vision that includes a food program featuring two dozen of his friends and favourite chefs, and two fully programmed stages showcasing internationally renowned musical acts and more, as well as a performance of sorts from Matty himself!

MATTYFEST is committed to a sustainable event and minimizing food waste. To aid in that we’ll have a limited number of food dishes from the restaurants. Its our intention to sell out everywhere so we aren’t throwing food away at the end of the night. Looking forward to seeing everyone September 7.
